In 2001, licensing rights to the SmartFuel trademark were acquired by SmartFUEL Energy Foods, Inc, which included the www.smartfuel.com domain. SmartFUEL Energy Foods, Inc. was absorbed by Smart Nutrition Company in 2004. After four years of attempting to establish SmartFUEL as a viable line of nutrition supplements, the decision was made to back off of this venture and pursue other business opportunities. For those visitors landing here in hopes to find SmartFUEL products, sorry. It was a fantastic line of supplements and the likes of WARPaide et al. are sorely missed.
In 2008, a partner opted out of Smart Nutrition Company. An agreement allowed the retention of the smartfuel.com domain, which is now an asset of Tough Love Nutrition.
